This kit was inspired by the Sears Modern Home no. 115. Sears maintains an excellent archive website where you can see the original House no.115 catalog page.
One of Sears most affordable homes, the original purchasers could have built this house for as little as $725 in 1908. Your N Scale family can have this home today for only a fraction of that cost.

This kit is laser-cut 1/16" plywood with laser etched details. It measures approx. 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". No door or window castings are required or provided. This kit features separate door & window trim laser cut from 1/64" plywood. A length of wood railing finishes the wrap-around porch.
Some skill or experience in building wood kits is helpful as well as some creativity in assembling, painting and detailing.
Included in the kit:
- A sheet of 1/16" laser-cut wood containing all the wood parts required.
- 3/64" milled angled trim for finishing corners.
- 1/64" plywood door & window trim & railings.
- Chimney casting (plastic.).
- Peel & stick Ultra Shingles roofing from New Rail Models
- Downloadable Instructions and an exploded parts drawing.
